The B&M PreRunner/Trail 4L80E automatic transmission is for use with all 1997-Up Chevrolet LS based engines with 2WD. This transmission features a forward pattern manual valve body and includes a B&M finned deep aluminum transmission pan for added fluid capacity and cooling. Features include a steel forward hub, 34 element intermediate sprag, high energy intermediate sprag, all new high performance friction plates, new overdrive sprag assembly, new low roller assembly and rebuilt performance pump. We strongly recommend adding a B&M transmission SuperCooler with your new transmission to help reduce high fluid temps that comes with hard off-road use. Max Recommended Power 800HP and 650 Lb/Ft. Note: This transmission will require an electronic controller such as the B&M Shift Plus 2 Transmission Controller part #120001. Carbureted applications will require a throttle position sensor such as B&M #120002. Does not include a torque convertor or speedometer gear.
