Installation of the popular TKX manual transmission when swapping in a Gen III will require the removal of a portion of the torsion bar crossmember to clear the top of the transmission. This very sturdy 3/16" black powdercoated steel brace bolts into place to restore the structural integrity of the crossmember and clear the transmission at the same time. It bolts into place using holes already present in the factory crossmember. Mounting hardware and instructions are included.
