What is Truck Freight shipping?

Any shipment that is larger than 30 inches by 30 inches by 30 inches, weighs over 150 pounds, or items that are too big and/or heavy for the parcel carriers (i.e. UPS, FedEx) are considered "Truck Freight". Shipments under these dimensions would typically be more cost-effective to ship via parcel. Freight delivery shipments can either be loaded onto a truck on pallets or floor-loaded. These types of shipments are also sometimes called "LTL" or "Less than Truckload" freight



How much will my shipping cost?

Shipping rates are determined by the package size, weight, and delivery destination. Your Shipping Charges will be calculated during Order Checkout. Items with associated Oversize Charges, Truck Freight shipments will be charged accordingly, and do not qualify for any FREE Shipping promotions. FREE Shipping eligible orders do not apply to Expedited Shipping Methods (Ground Shipping ONLY)



Carrier Options, Delivery Costs, and Transit Times Shipping Details (by Region)

Estimated transit times and shipping & handling fees will be shown, when applicable. Delivery Locations within the United States typically take 1-5 Business Days (Lower 48 States) Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico (can take up to an additional 3 Business Days). We reserve the right to choose which carrier we utilize when shipping your order. UPS and FedEx are used in more than 95% of our outbound shipments



What are our order shipping cut-off times?

All orders taken on a given day are processed/ shipped the following business day, Monday through Friday (excluding Holidays). For orders requesting Expedited Shipping Methods (2-Day Air / 3-Day select) on orders placed by Noon Central Time. For orders requesting Saturday delivery, please see next questions below for shipping expectations



What is Saturday Delivery and Cut-Off Times?

Saturday delivery service is a service level Super Shops does NOT currently offer. Orders placed on Friday with an expedited shipping service will not be processed/picked/shipped until Monday following the weekend with Earliest expected ETA to a consumer is Tuesday



How much do Expedited Shipping Methods Cost?

Orders Placed using Expedited Shipping Methods ( 2-Day Air / 3-Day select) will vary on weight, dimensions, and destination Zip Code to determine cost of Shipping. The available shipping methods and associated costs will be displayed during the checkout process



What are oversize fees?

An oversize fee will be charged on item(s) when one (or more) of the following conditions exist:

  • Total weight over 70 lbs. A box 60 in. long or more.
  • 2 box dimensions of 30 in. or greater



Can you ship hazardous materials?

We do carry some items that are classified as "hazardous material" by parcel carriers. In most cases, these items will be restricted to "ground shipping methods" ONLY. Items that are considered "Hazardous Materials" include, but are not limited too:

  • Batteries
  • Aerosol Products(Paint)
  • Solvents



I think I was overcharged for shipping...

Shipping Rates are calculated by Actual Weight vs. Dimensional Weight The price you pay is determined by the weight and destination. However, carriers (UPS, Fedex, etc.) often use “dimensional weight” instead of the actual weight. Dimensional weight "Dim" weight also referred too as “Volumetric Weight,” is the amount of space a package occupies in relation to its actual weight. For each shipment, you are charged based on the dimensional weight or actual weight of the package—whichever is greater. Calculating Dimensional Weight can be achieved by multiplying L(length) X W(width) x H (height) of the package / 139 = Total cubic square inches of the package
