The Weld-On Conversion Brackets are used to replace the existing bolt-on axle brackets found on Competition Engineering Bolt-On Wheel-E-Bars™. They can also be used to mount a set of Competition Engineering Wheel-EBars™ to a new axle housing. INSTALLATION 1. Bolt the new brackets to the Wheel-E-Bars™ using the original fasteners. 2. With the car sitting on a level surface, locate the Wheel-E-Bar™ under the car with the brackets up against the housing. Support the end of the bars so that the wheels are approximately 3-1/2" off the ground. 3. Tack weld the bracket to the housing. NOTE: Under no circumstances should the upper strut bar be closer than 1" from any chassis or suspension component. 4. When proper clearance of the upper strut bars has been assured, finish weld the brackets to the housing. C
