All Holley Marine Carburetors are designed to meet Coast Guard specifications. A marine carburetors fuel metering system is calibrated to compensate for unique engine loads found on boats. The J-style vent tubes direct fuel/fumes back into the carburetor for safe operation while on rough waters.

The Holley 0-80552 Marine carburetor is designed with a universal calibration good for marine engines where a spreadbore 4BBL is required

*** A carb spacer may be required to allow the fuel inlet on our marine 4175 to clear the water manifold (aka thermostat housing) on most Mercruiser and OMC GM V8 engines. We offer a 1 in. spacer in the Mr. Gasket product line. Part Number is 3406.
