The GM LS engine has the oil filter mounted in a pocket in the side of the oil pan & sometimes it isn't in the ideal location when doing an engine swap. The stock oil filter is very small and this can restrict flow or require more frequent service. Earl's new spin-on oil filter adapters are an economical and easy way to relocate the oil filter & use a less restrictive larger filter at the same time.

Add an Earl's remote filter mount, and AN hose & fittings to complete the installation.

Check Thread Size on Oil Filter Stud. Most 1997-’06 GM LS engines have 13/16”-16 threads, and 2007 & up engines have 22mm x 1.5 threads. The GM Gen V LT engines use 22mm x 1.5 threads.<br><br>May also fit other engines w/ 13/16-16 Filter and 2-3/4 in. O-Ring Diameter.
