This is a direct replacement for the water pump block off plate that comes with Mr. Gasket Electric Water Pumps, #7024G and #7024BG. It goes between the pump and the timing cover on Ford applications that utilized a water pump block off plate. If your timing cover did not use a plate, this plate is not required.
