We've all run into this problem working on Holley's project.

You get in a hurry. It's late and you are tired as you've been out in the shop wrenching for hours. You go to button things up by putting your trick looking fabricated valve covers back on your heads and it happens!

You drop a washer or multiple washers, you drop a bolt into the abyss of your engine bay and can't find it, or you have one of those really nice shops with a drain in the floor and the bolt and/or washers fall down into the drain, never to be seen again.

This part is legal for sale or use on Emissions Controlled Vehicles, Uncontrolled (Non-Emissions Controlled) Vehicles, and Racing Use Only Vehicles because it does not affect vehicle emissions and is not covered by emissions regulations.
Recommended Torque spec for these Valve cover bolts are 28-34 in/lbs. Overtightening of these bolts can result in deformation of the valve cover and over compression of the gasket resulting in oil leaks.
