This sliding tether is the black nylon strap that goes behind the head through the two guides screwed into the back of the Hans III device and attaches to the helmet on either side. It is designed for post style helmet anchors, and has metal clips attached that slide over the posts and lock into place. Includes the strap with metal connecting ends, two strap guides and 4 screws. This is the long length which is 19 inches. There are also Extra Short 16 inch, Small 17 inch and Standard 18 inch styles available. Sold individually.

Do not confuse this with the quick-click style sliding tether. The quick click style has nylon loops which are attached to quick release fasteners on the helmet. This is for HANS III devices only, use only the sliding tether that is correct for your style of device.
