Hooker BlackHeart has quickly become the leader in engine swaps and we are excited to announce new LS swap products for Fox Body and SN95 Mustangs. The new Hooker BlackHeart LS Swap Engine Mounting Brackets are designed to be used with BlackHeart Transmission Crossmembers (71222012HKR or 71222013HKR) for a trouble-free installation with optimized driveline angles. No additional engine mounts are required. See the Instructions for additional compatibility and to identify which crossmember and adapter are required for your transmission choice (some will reuse the factory crossmember and mount).

  • When coupled with the Hooker BlackHeart transmission crossmembers listed above, these mounting brackets locate the engine in the same nominal position (fore-aft, height, offset, etc.)

These engine mounting brackets do not require any additional engine-related isolator mounts and are for use on 1996-2004 Ford Mustangs utilizing Team Z #TZM-KM-SWAP4 K-member ONLY. See the Instructions for additional compatibility and to identify which crossmember and adapter are required for your transmission choice (some will reuse the factory crossmember and mount). Installation of the engine using these brackets will allow the use of any Holley or Weiand brand LS (Gen III Small Block Chevy) oil pan. May require the use of an aftermarket steering shaft to accommodate the lower steering rack position they provide.
