These new premium engine mounting brackets have been redesigned to allow GM LS or Gen-V LT engines to be installed in the 1973-1987 C10/C20 Trucks. The modular design of these brackets allow engine changes from LS to LT with a change to the clamshell components only. The same mounting brackets, polyurethane inserts, and crossmembers fit both LS & LT engines.

Hooker BlackHeart application-specific LS/Gen-V LT swap engine mounting brackets remove the installation guesswork and compatibility uncertainty that comes with using universal/adjustable swap plates. These brackets are designed for 1973-1987 GM C10 pick-ups to achieve optimized component clearances and drivetrain/U-joint operation angles when used in conjunction with the transmission crossmember and Hooker cast exhaust manifolds, and exhaust systems. Hooker BlackHeart long-tube headers will be available soon for this application.

LS Engines use Clamshell Mounts 71221018HKR and Polyurethane Inserts 71221016HKR (Black) or 71221017HKR (Red), and 71223015HKR engine mount bolt kit to connect the Hooker engine brackets to the motor mounts. LS Engines Can Also Use Factory Style 4th-gen F-body LS engine mounts (ex: GM 22179268 or Anchor 3064) w/ specification requirements are 10.9 M12 x 1.75 x 140mm. These parts are available in a kit VK090152 (black inserts), or VK090153 (red inserts).<br><br>Gen-V LT engines Use Clamshell Mounts 71221019HKR with Polyurethane Inserts - P/N's 71221016HKR (Black) or 71221017HKR (Red), and 71223015HKR engine mount bolt kit. These parts are available in a kit VK090154 (black inserts), or VK090155 (red inserts).<br><br>These Mounts work with LS Cast Exhaust Manifolds: 8501HKR, 8501-1HKR, 8501-3HKR, 8501-4HKR, 8501-5HKR, 8502HRK, 8502-1HKR, 8502-3HKR, 8502-4HKR, 8502-5HKR, 11730FLT, 11730-1FLT, or 11730-3FLT.<br><br>These Mounts work with Gen-V LT Cast Exhaust Manifolds: BHS516, BHS517, or BHS518.
