Cometic intake manifold gaskets are constructed from a chemically blown, compounded nitrile synthetic rubber bonded to an aluminum core. The gasket material has a temperature resistance of over 250 degrees and an 85 percent recovery, while maintaining strong torque retention. Cometic intake manifold gaskets are ideal for machined surfaces, especially uneven stamped surfaces that have been plated. Intake manifold gaskets retain torque and require no additional sealers.
