This transmission adapter bracket works with Hooker Blackheart's Modular Crossmember BHS572 to fit the A727 automatic transmission, or TKX manual transmission. This design allows future transmission changes by swapping out only the transmission adapter bracket instead of replacing the whole crossmember. It's constructed from 3/16 inch thick black coated steel and mounting hardware is included. This is just one part of a complete Gen III swap system. The Crossmember, BHS572 (available separately) and this adapter bracket works with Engine Mounting Brackets, BHS571 (available separately) for optimal engine placement to allow Short Runner Valve Clearance (eliminates modifications to the firewall & brake booster). Hooker BlackHeart swap headers & exhaust systems (available separately) are designed as part of the swap system & provide clearance with all of the transmission options and offer proper driveshaft and u-joint angles. TKX manual transmissions with also require the use of Hooker Blackheart Transmission Crossmember Support, BHS588.
