This crossmember is designed to be with Hooker Blackheart Gen III engine swap mounts for ideal drivetrain / U-joint angles. It uses the factory crossmember mounting holes for easy installation with no cutting or drilling necessary. The high tuck design both maximizes ground clearance and accommodates up to a 3" exhaust. It has a modular design that allows the use of several different transmissions like the A727, NAG1 Automatic or TKX 5-Speed Manual. Each transmission uses an application specific adapter plate that is sold separately from the BHS572 crossmember. This design also allows you to easily update your transmission later without the need to buy or fabricate a different crossmember - simply change to a different adapter plate. Durable heavy duty 3/16" welded steel construction with black coating for great looks and durability.
